The factory area covers more than 65,000 sq ft of space and provides an efficient and spacious layout.

Norp Knit Industries Ltd has ventured into woven business in Bangladesh with sate of the art set up in Norp Knit - Unit enhancing the current cut and sew knits capacity with focus on backward integration with a state of the art Knitting setup.

Key highlights of the projects are as follows:-

	The plant would house more than 1000 sewing machines along with extensive product development setup.
	The product capabilities would cost effective manufacturing includes Knits, Woven tops and bottoms for our key global partners.
	The plant key focus would harness the valuable experience gained in value added areas such as embroidery, printing, garment washing alogwith garment dyeing setup.
	The total area of approx 210,000 Sq ft. 80% on a single floor. Result enhancing reduced material handling across the plant and aiding lean manufacturing.
Manufacturing Resources:-
	The cut and sewing setup includes Cutting machines from Eastman, Hashima, Swega aided with Gerber Technology CAD system for maximizing fabric utilization.
	The Printing setup from MNR (USA) would target the In Vogue prints techniques maintaining the customer quality standards in a cost effective printing.
	Embroidery setup includes SWF Machines from with possible variations and an increased embroidery area with established frameless technique of embroidery.
	The sewing resources comprise of the best technology from Brother, Pegasus, Juki, and Kansai for the setup.
	Finishing machines from Ramsons, Ngai Shing, Dennison, and Hashima would comprise the finishing on a single floor finishing setup in a straight line method.
	Utility for the plant supported by economic Gas fired CAT generators, Steam from Thermax and dry compressed air from Atlas capco machines.

The unit is designed to exceed customer expectations on compliance and worker welfare with facilities a Canteen, Medical Center equipped with beds, crèche for the infants along with CT-PAT requirement.
