PT. Norwest Industry is a
reputed manufacturer of Ladies and Men apparel.
The factory area is 150,000 sq. ft which
accommodates 850 machines and allows 40,000 sq.
ft of warehousing space.
It has an installed capacity to produce 3.5
million units of Woven garments per annum. Its
manufacturing is strengthened by constantly
investing in modern and specialized machinery.
The factory boasts of automatic collar and cuff
trimming, turning and blocking machines,
Pneumatic folding tables for stand up collar
shirts, armhole pressing machine.
In addition the factory also has specialized
machines such as smocking, saddle stitch,
faggoting, pintucking and in-house computerized
embroidery enabling it to provide value addition
to its customers.
Customers
PT. Norwest is a supplier to multi -brand
specialty retailers and wholesalers such as Express, Limited, Chico’s, Esprit, GAP, S.
Oliver, Christopher & Banks, JC Penney, VF Corp,
Kohl’s.
Quality Assurance 15% of the total work force forms the
Quality Assurance Department, which is an
independent cell. It focuses on performing
strong quality control activities during the
various stages of production.
Process Control and Systems
The factory is GSD certified. Industrial
engineering techniques are constantly applied to
enhance production efficiency and quality.
The fully integrated ERP system which interlinks
the various departments enables accurate
information and smooth process flow.
