House of Pearl Fashions Ltd appoints Col Ramesh Wahi as
Chief Information Officer New Delhi, September 14, 2006
House Of Pearl Fashions Ltd. today announced the
appointment of Col. Ramesh Wahi as 'Group Chief Information
Technology Officer'. He will be responsible for devising and
implementing IT strategy of the group, keeping the future
growth in mind.
Col. Wahi’s immediate priorities would be to set up and
integrate IT systems for Poeticgem UK and far east
operations, which is a marketing distribution & sourcing
arm of House of Pearl Fashions Ltd. He will also oversee ERP
implementation & activities for the manufacturing arm of
the group across Asia Pacific. The group has manufacturing
facilities in India, Bangladesh, Indonesia & China.
Col. Wahi’s appointment becomes more significant at
this time as the company is planning to open up an
international design centre in Gurgaon which will integrate
latest designs from all over the world and provide valuable
inputs to the company’s manufacturing units.
Announcing the appointment, Mr Deepak Seth, Chairman,

Col Wahi has extensive experience of handling large IT
related projects. He is an alumnus of IIT, Kanpur.
